10 Unique Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Tweens, Teens, and Adults

December 12, 2017 By Laura 9 Comments

I think I have everyone’s Christmas presents figured out…but stocking stuffers can be a challenge! I want them to be amusing and maybe a bit silly, but also still useful and not something everyone’s just going to throw out. Stocking stuffers have to be interesting, but not the focal point of all the Christmas presents. The art of the stocking stuffer is a tricky, tricky business, really.

I have the kids figured out, but there are a few adults I need to get some for. Fortunately, uncommongoods.com invited me to shop their website. The store features products that are environmentally friendly and socially responsible, and they feature sustainable, handmade options. I found some great stocking possibilities – not too expensive. Unique and quirky. But still useful and stylish things you’ll keep at work or display at home when you’re not using them.

Here are a few ideas for stocking stuffers for anyone from a tween to an adult:

1.) Classic Literature Brainteasers

My bookworm daughter would love this! There are four sets for Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Treasure Island, and The Wizard of Oz. Each set has five small puzzles inspired by the book. I’d get this, and maybe buy the book to give as a gift, too.

2.) Heirloom Veggie Seed Kit

The packaging of this seed kit is just beautiful. Tiny containers with seeds for ten different heirloom vegetables including tomatoes, peppers, onions, and cucumbers. Each kit also includes full planting instructions for the spring.

3.) Pocket Pruner Multi Tool

Everyone can use a good pocket tool. This one is stainless steel and beechwood and includes a set of shears, a saw and knife blade, a ruler, phillips and flat head screwdrivers, and bottle and can openers. This would be great to keep in your pocket while gardening, or to toss in with the gear when camping.

4.) Hair Tie Bracelet

Genius! This stainless steel bracelet has a channel so you can slip your hair tie onto it and keep it handy, without it cutting off the circulation to your hand. My husband will probably buy me 12, because he gets cranky finding hair ties all over the house.

5.) Avocado Salt & Pepper Shaker

I love these ceramic salt & pepper shakers so much, and they would be great on the table with chips and salsa (and of course – guacamole!)

6.) Bike Chain Star Ornaments

Cute little Christmas star ornaments made from recycled bicycle chains. These would be a fun little trinket for stockings.

7.)  iPhone Charger Stickers

I was constantly refereeing charger battles around here. Somebody was always taking someone else’s charger and claiming it was theirs and…nightmare. These are an amusing way to differentiate between chargers.

8.) Rose Gold Love Necklace

A beautiful, reasonably priced necklace that would be great for a tween or teen. Again, my daughter would love this.

9.) Cedar Thumb Pianos

I have a teenage boy and I think this is one of those quirky gifts that he’d love. No one else will have one. It’s musical. You can choose either the acoustic or the electric version (which can be connected to an amp. See? Perfect teen boy stocking stuffer). It comes with a songbook to learn basic tunes.

10.) Fidget Blocks

Know any adults who fidget? I know tons, actually. These are classy-looking and can hang out on an office desk when you’re not messing with them during boring meetings.

If you’re interested in other uncommongoods gift ideas, they have guides for almost everyone. Check out their Teen Gift Guide, Gifts for Kids, or Personalized Gifts. Or, you can try Sunny, the expert gift finder…tell him a few things your loved one is interested in and he’ll help you find a great gift!

Uncommongoods.com gave me a gift certificate to shop at their online store. All opinions are mine and are truthful.

And, consider it: by refusing small things in your life, like
a compliment or someone holding the entranceway for you personally whenever your arms are full of packages, actually
helps it be harder to receive even larger gifts that
may present themselves. The difficulties from the economic conditions nowadays make us want more savings and much less out-of-pocket spending.
Many lenders are coming to the negotiation table of short sale a little easier
now this might be on account of being overwhelmed with foreclosures and
    more foreclosures around the horizon.

If we incorporate some important news or emergency situation, we will definitely read about
it on TV. So in the event you haven’t watched it, don’t waste
your time expecting a DVD copy. Thus, how’s that for a sign that newspapers will shift their budget with their internet visibility in future.
