“Can I have a phone?” “Can I watch TV?” “Can we get a camel?” Honestly. Some days all I do is say “no” to stuff. It happens so often, it’s my default answer. Mostly for good reason. But sometimes, just because it’s easier.
Yesterday, we went hiking, and on a fall color drive through the mountains, and when we got home we all climbed into our jammies, ordered a pizza, and went to bed. And so today we did…nothing. I mean, obviously we did some things. But nothing planned. No outings. No creative stuff together. We did a little of this:
