My daughters and I were recently offered a chance to get a sneak peek at a new movie, Monster High: Haunted.
We made some popcorn, grabbed the blankets and retired to our private screening room. Or the basement…same thing, right?
Monster High Haunted is a great movie for kids and my nine-year-old daughter and her friends are the perfect audience!
It’s a clever idea for a film as it’s all about the teenage children of famous monsters like Frankenstein and Dracula. They all go to a special high school and have interesting and fun adventures together!
The girls watched Monster High Haunted after school. But not before doing their homework! It was a good incentive to get them to work quickly so they could watch the movie.
The characters in the movie are quirky, friendly and self-confident, and I love that theseadorable monsters are positive and a fun role models for my little girls.
There are life lessons sprinkled throughout the film. The Monster High girls show that gossiping and stereotyping should always be avoided, and that friendship and working together is always important!
After the movie, we all sat and talked about the different lessons they saw and what they learned. I figured it’s important to grab every chance I can to talk to them before they grow up too much!
The girls can’t wait to watch the movie with their friends!
Monster High Haunted is available on Blu-Ray and DVD on March 24th, and you can purchase HERE.
