A few things going on around here:
-I’ve been at this parenting thing for ten years and four kids now and I still have no idea how to convince a two-year old that this:
is inappropriate headgear for a driving snowstorm. Then again, she is on her way to church and I agree with her that it’s a shame ladies don’t wear hats to church very often anymore.
-I’m auditioning for this. I can’t give you a good reason why — except I’ve decided I need to do more things that make me uncomfortable and last year I ran a marathon…so this seemed like a logical next step. Sort of.
-I’m helping our Brownie Troop sell cookies outside our local grocery store this weekend. Yesterday, it was sunny and we all wore T-shirts and no coats. Today we got 14 inches of snow. Oh, Colorado…I really, really love you but sometimes you make me crazy.
-I started knitting this skirt for my daughter. She’s pretty excited that it’s going to be bright blue:
-a few spring books on our bedtime reading list right now:
The Happy Day by Ruth Krauss
Rabbit’s Winter Walk by Lorna Hussey
