I’ve been sharing some fun, crafty things over at BabyCenter lately — come check ’em out!
Roller painting was a huge hit! We used fondant rollers from the craft store, and other fun supplies we found around the house. You could easily roller paint some butcher paper and use it for personalized wrapping paper.
And the kids took the longest baths ever after we made bathtub paints. They had a blast and painted everywhere in the tub with them (fortunately they wash off really well!).
Finally, these tissue paper flowers were simple to make and are great pops of color! Make a bunch in the same color for elegant showers or adult parties, or make a bunch in bright primary colors for kids. We tied a bunch to the front of my daughter’s bike and she rode around the neighborhood showing them off (there’s a video included in the post, to really walk you through it!).
Hopefully one, or all, of these activities strike your fancy and the kids now have a fun activity to try this summer!
