I have four days to make 3 1/2 handmade Halloween costumes (not ‘cuz I’m a great, crafty Pinteresting genius. ‘Cuz I’m cheap, actually.) We also need a costume for a 4th grade play and some minor props for the school Oral Interpretation Festival. My sister comes the day after tomorrow and the guest bed is currently covered in three loads of laundry and I’m scared of the guest bathroom. We have no pumpkins.
But for now? We sit and enjoy our hot cocoa together (from this recipe…I did warn you we were addicted). And a banana. And we wear our lovely plastic rings because we’re fashionable like that. Everything else will get done. Or it won’t and I’m pretty sure everyone will still be alive on the other side. But the little, hot chocolate-sipping moments will be gone before I know it.
