I don’t have any New Year’s resolutions. Wait! No! I have one. I’m going to learn to make risotto this year. That’s it. One.
I love this verse. And it seemed fitting in a month talking about connecting…and love…and stuff. The printable is here, if you want one. This post is part of a series on connecting simply with your kids. You can read more of the series here. Thank you for visiting Peace but Not Quiet! […]
I have four days to make 3 1/2 handmade Halloween costumes (not ‘cuz I’m a great, crafty Pinteresting genius. ‘Cuz I’m cheap, actually.) We also need a costume for a 4th grade play and some minor props for the school Oral Interpretation Festival. My sister comes the day after tomorrow and the guest bed is […]
I was always touching my kids when they were babies. Picking them up, squeezing their cheeks, pinching their toes, rubbing noses. You just can’t help it with babies. The kids are back to school today, which is, I guess, the first sign that summer is ending. Sigh. I always get to this point and realize we haven’t done half the things I’d planned and we stayed home more than I thought and probably everyone spent too much time in front of a screen…does […]
