Butterscotch Apple Cider

October 29, 2013 By Laura 1 Comment

I actually had a different drink planned for today…but then the kids wanted some apple cider but not regular apple cider (heavens, no) and so we came up with butterscotch cider because those were the ingredients we had in the house.
We made a pot of Stovetop Spiced Cider. Then we drizzled a little butterscotch in the bottom of our mugs and stirred in the cider. Topped it with whipped cream and another drizzle of butterscotch.
It was sweet and pretty delicious. It tasted a lot like a Starbucks Caramel Apple Cider drink. I really should listen to the kids more often.

Hi, there!

Hi, there!

Welcome! I'm Laura -- a mom of four kids aged thirteen and under. I run occasionally and love really bad puns.
