So it is cold outside which means chunky hats and knitted things and fuzzy socks and all that is comfy and hygge.
It means warm soups and hot cups of tea. And sometimes…it means spiking those cups of tea with a wee bit o’ somethin’ to really warm yourself up from the inside out.
This tea cocktail recipe is shared courtesy of my favorite tea shop, In-Tea , in downtown Littleton, Colorado. They’ve held a soft spot in my heart ever since the day I walked in, six months pregnant with a head cold and wailed, “What do you have that can make me feel better??” and they fixed me up a pot of Wild Cherry Tea, but more importantly, they fretted and “oh, honey”d me, and generally gave me the sympathy I was looking for. Sometimes even the mom needs taking care of.
So thank you to Carole Alvarez for letting me share this Christmas tea cocktail and for generally having the best tea place ever.
