I love this time of year.
I love all things sparkly and twinkly and glittery, and now, as it gets dark earlier and as we light fires and candles and (soon!) Christmas trees there are a lot of beautiful moments.
Snow crystal votives are a simple, inexpensive way to spread some glitter and sparkle around the house — and this is definitely a craft the kids can help with!
Begin with some glue in a bowl. Water it down just slightly — maybe 1/4 part water to 1 part glue. Grab your paintbrush and cover your votive with glue.
Sprinkle glitter everywhere you painted and allow to dry. Once dry, shake all the excess glitter off.
Add a votive and that’s it! Done!
Lovely, a little bit fancy, and simple and inexpensive to make. Perfect!
